I have a friend raising organic grass fed beef down towards NYC. Middletown area - where the Orange County Chopper guy is based.
I have not been able to try his beef but they look mighty nice. He makes balage from pretty rich hay fields so not really grass. Legumes have a lot more nutrition...
I had a young cow butchered and thought I could sell some of the 1st quality meat to friends and acquaintances.
It was some of the best meat I ever had. Gave some to them so they could try it. That label Not for Sale made them think something was wrong with it.
