Probably have to reinforce the box so they don't blow through. They are a hell of a deal. I am surprised more companies don't ship that way. Fed Ex sucks in my area.
It might take the temper out of steel. I have heated brake bleeder screws, sometimes more than once, and they come out without breaking. I used to dread those frozen little suckers. I replace them with new.

It takes quite a bit of practice to get good at it though. The iron worker knows how for sure.
I think I would give the drill a whirl. If the bolts aren't real hard the hole is already started and centered with the allen wrench recess. Worth a shot.
Heating the threaded side of the bolt to orange and then quenching works magic. propane won't get it that hot. The bolts might be too hard for easy drilling. Worth a try.
