We have rainbow trout running up the creek on the farm. Amazing how fast they can spot a human near the bank. You can stand still and even have some cover and they still recognize the danger. They call the variety of rainbows steelheads. Very pretty but too fishy for me.

I saw a kayak like that in Lake Ontario Sunday. He had been out fishing and had a nice headwind come up he had to fight hard to get back. Helped him load up-a lot heavier than a normal kayak. Chatted with him a bit. He is a chain saw carver from Long Island. Had not caught any fish though.
