I'm really not trying to sell anyone on Echos. I just wouldn't pass them by without a look at what their offering these days. They were always a solid saw, just underpowered, and they seem to be working on that.

Chain saw snobery. Not that I have not been guilty of the same thing myself. I used to buy Wolverine work shoes in the late 70's early 80's. Someone gave me a pair of Texas Steer workshoes and they were kick ass back then. Too bad not any more. I think Echo is like those Texas Steer shoes...

My Echo 3400 I bought 15 years ago is still running. It was a gutless pig, but I think they have beefed them up.
