    I do a mean pan-seared ahi that is served quite rare, with a spicy dry rub...mighty tasty, not fishy at all. I have had guests say "erm...I don't think the tuna is done"...I say just try it, never had a disapointed table guest yet.

    Here's some from this weekend. Weather has turned awesome, and we put the canoe on the river...actually a dammed segment of the Clackamas. A real gorge, lovely. Jasper likes to ride in the canoe...though mostly he sleeps. He does look over the gunnel at the geese and ducks, sorta curious.

    More in than on I came across a cd of some pics we took during our last visit to Big Island, HI this past weekend as I was loading photos onto our new digital picture frame. Though a few would be fun to share.

    Maybe just more foolish, Brian. Of course, when I was living and working in south Florida it was more than 30 years ago. Alligators were still federally listed as threatened, and although there were plenty of them, most were in the younger generation of the recovering population and a big one...

    Aw, gators are no hassle. Much, anyway. I've swum with 'em plenty of times...but I stay out of the water if I see one over 12 feet.
