Yeah, where I work, 180 feet isn't near enough...200 isn't either, for many jobs. I'd be loading 300 feet like No Bivy. That doesn't divide into 1,000 ft evenly either :cry: . :)

Justin, could the same idea be applied to a Spencer logger's tape? A large one, designed for 75 or 100 foot tapes might have useable capacity, and the recoil spring is pretty strong. It might be somewhat heavier than the fly reel, but readily available. Most of the weight in a Spencer is the...
