Pretty sure that choosing a gas station that has prices a few cents less than another won't really make much difference in your bottom line. Especially if you have to go out of your way even a little bit to get there. Not that I don't do it some :). Human nature.

All of this may well be true, but the price at the station Frans reported is so far above what others in your state are charging that the difference surely is not based on the issues you state, Stephen. That's why I think that specific seller is price gouging.
