Well, I got a little gun shy on my grinding. Ended up smoothing out the lower transfers and widened the intake and exhaust slightly. Timing numbers ended up about the same.
What do you'll like to do with your muffler mods? Bark box, another port on the opposite side, or both?
I like that method for knowing how wide you can go by tracing the port onto the piston. I haven’t run across that in a video that I can remember. Thanks guys!
I'm about to start grinding on the old 044 and was hoping someone can give me some advice. I think I'm sticking with the stock squish (came in a bit too tight with no gasket).
The squish is .03
Exhaust opens at 102 ATDC (156 duration)
Transfers open at 117 ATDC (15 blowdown)
Intake opens 70 BTDC...
