Can the nifty lift work indoors?

The teupen videos are cool... the width difference is the 18 is 2'7"... and the 23 is like 3'7"... We'll be doing some indoor ficus work too..as well as up to 50-60 feet of trees... The videos showed the teupen crawling stairs and muddy hills. But I've heard they have ghosts in the wiring...
