Update .... the snow and ice are almost gone .... there is waste everywhere , life does go on (muddy roads , Maple sap gets gathered and boiled) .... Suddenly everyone with a pickup and a saw is in the tree biz .... lotsa hack work being done out there ... people who do NOT know what they are...

Still cutting out breaks (cccccold climbing) , and pulling up waste lmbs from snow and ice ....

UPDATE ... I'm still cleaning up , climbing to cut out breaks ... went back to ski patrol part time .... this work will continue for a LONG time ...I've started to get some revenue , first NEW boots then maybe fix the chipper ... I'm on my way back up !

Man I WISH ! alot of these hi-enders do NOT want any kind of rig off the driveway ... except of course the lawn tractor during the summer !

Day INSIDE , so far ... with another storm working it's good I'm not ... still working up prices for damage jobs , we will be using an old ski patrol tobbogan to foward wood on the next one ! There is good $$$ to be made but it hasn't been easy , maybe there'll be a New pair of Wescos' under the...

I'm mainly working on my best customers spread .... cut out a large Ash breakout .... piece probably weighed 6000 lbs. weight was spread out on branch tips at ground and lower limb , we pieced it out sparing the tree from further limb breakage / loss .... cold all day !

MORE Big Snow for Sunday !

The sheer volume of clean-up work is staggering ...

I'm drinking ... ALE , still safe , still sore , Stihl continueing to do this work .... Big Snow Or High Water ... er I guess they are the same ....

I'm already drinking....coffee that is , going out early briging lots of saws , climb / rig gear , the Tirfor and one other chopper .... the more of this work we git done before big snow the better ...

I safely chopped out ALOT of crazy ice-laden , heavy criss - crossed muti - stem mouse traps for two days at the ski area 'till my supervisor proved to be an asshole , thus the "leave of absence" the work itself was pretty exciting !!! and dangerous !!! NO place for the "GOL" qualified rook ....

I am right the hell in it !!! The heaviest damage I have EVER seen ... 5 days without power ... day after was crazy dangerous cutting / climbing .... sounded like gunfire as tops broke out and whole trees fell ...the ski area lost about a third of it's electric infrastructure , as well as me ...
