What saw should I get to replace the Stihl 200T?

750 gallons of saw gas . Good heavens I don't think I buy much more gas a year than that for everything I own .Including my little Ranger and full sized Mercury which are gas guzzlers at 26 miles per gallon .Then again I don't go anywhere much . I buy gas for the tractors, mowers etc 20-25...

What saw should I get to replace the Stihl 200T?

That was just a fluke .That gas station must have had twenty pumps, huge .In the area I live in you don't see that .Fact my buddy Dave who most likely has half a million bucks worth of Corvettes and Chevelles and others goes to Dayton Ohio to get his rocket fuel .He's got a Chevy 454 with a 1/4"...

What saw should I get to replace the Stihl 200T?

Gas! You have to pay attention .About 5 years ago after Dar passed I made a little trip to Denver to clear my head .In western Iowa on I 80 I wasn't paying attention and dumped about ten gallons of non ethanol race gas in my car before I realized what I was doing .It didn't hurt the Merc but it...

What saw should I get to replace the Stihl 200T?

Well some people buy the whole cap at around 10 bucks a pop .For like 20 cents a pop put half a dozen o-rings in your tool box .Takes about a minute to pop one off and change rather than fight that SOB trying to get it to seal and break the cap in the process .I broke one myself early one .

What saw should I get to replace the Stihl 200T?

The flippy caps issues are the o-rings loose their resiliency after a while .Before I retired I stocked up on them from an almost unlimited supply but I can't remember the exact size .You could probably Google it and find them on flea bay for next to nothing . Hot dang I'm good .Stihl...

What saw should I get to replace the Stihl 200T?

I've got a couple of the older 335's ,previous model to the 338 .The balance is great but it lacks the power of a 200T .A couple of the tree services tried them out as a cheaper alternative to the 020/200T but the oilers failed in less than a year .It's only an $8 fix but you have to field strip...

What saw should I get to replace the Stihl 200T?

Most likely if that 200 is leaning out it's caused by funky seal caused by funky bearings .Both bearings and two new seals used to be around 60 bucks from a dealer .If nothing else change the chain side seal which is relatively easy to do .Cost you about 10 bucks at a dealer or you could find...
