I'll probably hang it up in the spring .Damned near 50 years in the trade is probably enough and also next year I have to tie into at least 3 IRA's and they will tax me to death .I'm opposed to that .
That talk about boiling the gas reminds me of 1974 .My cousin and I took two little saws to the mountains of Colorado to cut firewood for a deer hunt .At elevations above 9,000 feet both saws,a little Pioneer plus my s-25 Poulan that I still have would boil the fuel .
Oh you can't imagine mud unless you've seen Ohio mud at certain times .The rich organic top soil will mire down just about anything if conditions are right .
Fact on my way home from work Monday I saw an old 3020 John-Deere sunk up to the axle .
Speaking of power pruner ,I have a little that to do myself from looking at the trees this afternoon .Just like C4 Fun it's a tad soggy here at the moment .
I never seem to find any Poulans except the clam shell designs llke sold by Sears .There's the two s-25 but I'm not going to mess with them but they do have removable cylinders .
I see by that bottom pic it has a spring suspension system .Similar to the Craftsman/Poulan I have .
The thing actually does pretty well considereing what it is .Not really a bad little firewooder if the stuff isn't too large .
