    For reasons unknown to me I couldn't find the genaric springy starters that Baileys sell or sold at one time .It's a lead pipe cinch they would be a darned bit cheaper than those sold by the all mighty Stihl corp .Most likely work just as well to boot .

    These were in bulk .Baileys must have sent a half a pick up full of stuff .Those handle ,pictures of Gerry B. up in that big redwood,Huskie pistons and coils,cylinders .Just tons of stuff . I'm not even certain of how you even install those handles .Tie a knot in them,whatever ? Got not a clue :?

    I can see your point on that . I had to put one on my 2100 Huskie before it completely ruined my hand . It doesn't get in my way but then again I'm not hoisting that thing around from a bucket truck either .

    Not the bend the thread from the elasto-start but a D handle is certainly easier on the poor old hand and fingers than a regular starter handle . You get snapped by 100 plus cc's of saw engine it damned sure hurts you . With a D you have a better grip on things .

    Have an 084 kick back on you just once and you'll wish you had that elastic gizmo . I had one come back on me hard the first of May and my hand is just now starting to heal .
