It does change the way you dismantle trees, whereas before you might take care not to overload the groundies, not lay stuff on top of itself too much, now you bomb it down, bigger the better, easier to grab and get to the chipper.

So here for example, you'd lose a mètre of lift height using a bmg.
Plus you'd have to get the balance just right to land it flat/straight compared to a grab like this.
You know the grapple thing intrigued me.
As some may know I'm getting a new loader and asked about a bmg. They couldn't supply one so I just went for the silage grab.
I look at the vids and cannot see how it would be advantageous to have one, if I was feeding a massive chipper yes.
