I'd be curious to hear from anyone that has been falling trees for a number of years and has never had an experience that they now consider as having been very dangerous.. Hell of a profession where it takes that to better understand the rules. Luck is a good friend. I can't think of too many...

That is what I speculate too, trees don't normally "drop down", unless they are hung up on something, do they?

Possibly some other trees were a factor, some limb clash?
