    Not saying a patent per say but at least some kind of documentation or intelectual (sp) property rights. I would think around 30 35 $ but then again I do not know what it would cost to buy materials and build. I mean there guys paying $100 plus for three bolts and some sheet metal.

    "Necessity is the mother of invention" talk to a patton clerk or lawyer and pitch the idea to Sherrill. You already have a working prototype and a good R&D base so why not? I am sure that is how the big shot came to be.

    No, I wish but the segment on throwline use is just shy of amazing IMO. Like 20' horizontal shots, crazy!

    Check you Jerry B's line of videos some of what he can do with a throw line is no less than amazing. It will want to make you practice all day to get that good.

    Probably but you would need to figure out some kind of stop for it so you are not fighting the spring during a throw.

    I use a Pflugger medalist and cut a slot in the base where the reel meets rod and installed a scissors snap so there is no dangle just a compact unit.

    That is about the same setup that I use accept it is a manual reel.
