I put the long gaffs on mine when I was in MA last month. I had to wear them a couple times since and they are awkward as Hell for me. I took them out of the truck and brought them home tonight so I can put the pole gaffs back on them. Maybe I might be able to climb something again. :|:

No biggie. Get them nice and sharp from the get go, then it's easier to keep them sharp when touching them up out in the field.

Not much difference in weight between titanium and aluminum, but a big difference in bulk.

Nope, sorry. They were 'borrowed' from the city when I worked there. I returned them to my former boss after I got sober (one of my 9th step amends).

I also went from Kleins to the titaniums. A much different feel, I hated them the first day. But after a week I was used to them and they stick very well. Give yourself a week or two to get used to the difference.

I've had mine for a few years, they're great.
