I would surmise that in most cases the belt sander should not be needed. The gaffs on the Climb Rights were like stubs and I just got tired of filing right damn quick. I tried using a soft grinding pad but the grinder was to fast and started showing blue almost immediately which is a no go. 120...
I took the gaffs off and went after them with a belt sander, work great now. I believe the gaff profile has been changed on newer models which should make keeping sharp easier. Thanks again
What do I have to do to run the .043 chain as far as sprocket and bar? I saw August using it on a vid with a modded saw and it looked pretty tuff for a 25cc saw.
