like someone else said smoke usually means a fuel problem, check the pick up in the tank for holes or cracks, the fuel solenoid could be going open as it gets hot. does fuel level or heat effect it?

That one is going to push him a little over his budget! I have a 52" Scag with Kawasaki and 36" Toro Pro with a Kawasaki, I've had them both about 4 years. No problems what so ever, I'd recommend either brand.

The IDI's where never one of my favorites. I'm not sure what the markets like up there but I'd bet you could do better for the money, or a few dollars more.

I do love the sound of a Deere diesel and that one was running strong. Loggers are cut from a unique mold.

I have an android phone and an iPad, no problems with embedded videos and all the side ways pics are upright on the iPad. Unless I'm missing something the site looks fine and I can navigate without a problem with either. Not much difference from my laptop before it died.

I'm a big fan of Milwaukee too. I have a sawzall and circular saw that must be 20 years old, off course I don't use them everyday but when I need them they're always there. Let me know how you like the 1/2", I've been wanting one for home, it's so much easier than air.
