I thought about bracing as you drew Marc, but the sides coming down from the bed are pretty weak and not much steel. I do have a plan for bracing. Stand by stand by. Ill post as I do.

I had to one hand a lot on this project. I am hardly steady with 2. But I guess I pulled through. I often had to pre bend the rod in 2 places to hit angle. Run 1/2 a rod in one place, save the other half for another. Just needing the length of the rod to reach some spots.

In fact, we fixed an irritating little issue after all these years. The wire to the starter solenoid is a blade connector that slides onto the blade fixed onthe solenoid. Over time, heat and vibration make that connection loose and eventually it can even fall off. You talk about a sumbiatch out...
