Trying to get the last door, for now, done on the horse palace. I found some antique strap hinges, and surprisingly, a pair of drive pintles that matched. I wasn't sure of the installation technique, so I tried it on some dunnage. Looks like a 1/2" hole and send it.

90% done with siding. Front is done. I built a little roof over the door track. There will be another piece on the front when the track is in. I think the horse may take up residence before the doors are done.

Getting down to the final details. We got more siding on, and installed my idea for a drip cap over the tack room door. It's a small detail, but makes a big difference.

Finished all of the 1/2" layer today. We have about half of the 1" layer done also. Should have it done next weekend, pending a replacement drive belt for the sawmill.

Siding the Tajmahorsebarn. 1/2" sub layer with 1" outer. No gaps, no ship lapping.
