Dave, my buddy added a biner to that temding point that just fits nicely. Down side is you have to remove biner to open it. Up side, less stress on the point and the spring gate will probably survive better.
Well, just a little side note here. Turns out one of my old climbers came back to the area with an extra Akimbo in tow. Been pruning some nice spreading canopies on some blue oaks this week. Jamie, its a great tool. Never did get to try a production model till now. Nicely done sir.
Excellent Paul. Just as easy as the HH. You just clip back into the center ring and do it. I swapped back and forth in the tree just like I do your devise.
Low and slow. Test... But easily adjusted once in the tree as well in case. It has two adjustment points. So you really need to dial it in just like a hitch for the rope you are using. Is it sliding when you weight it? Tighten the cam (s). Is it binding too hard? Loosen a cam or cams. Low and...
