    What can you do?

David, your problem with your pot head neighbors is the fact that you live on a postage stamp worth of property and can smell what everyone is making for dinner. Ya gots no elbow room. Burnham, at least it seems your new neighbors have some consideration, and that's something to be grateful...

    What can you do?

Come on, no Phish or Greatful Dead playing 24/7, maybe a drum circle going in the background, the thick overwhelming pungent odor of patchouly filling the air.

    How'd it go today?

Leather tubes change from climbing gear to rigging and back. Yesterday, I was reducing a large maple, lowering with the 180⁰ bend in the tube and 180⁰ bend around a biner that was slung to the branch. So useful.

Well it’s not a race track so you have that going for you. Besides you could use a little helli action in your retirement. Liven things up a bit in da hood.

    What can you do?

Recent interactions make it seem like a probable plan is a Xmas tree plantation. Very common here in Clackamas County...one of the most prolific producers of Xmas trees in the world. That's better than an ATV track, by a large amount. But not without possible negative consequences for us...

I really like those old school leather cambium savers too @SeanKroll. Saves a whole lot of pitchy mess on ropes. One of the earliest "arborist" tools I adopted to my "logger" climbing kit. Whole lotta years ago now...:D.

    How'd it go today?

Nah, just tired. 4 elm/ash slammed easy. Last one was tough bushy aleppo pine. Slung chain couple times and got pinched at the end. Forgot backup saw was inop. Forgot didn't have full size axe in truck. Had to chop out with estwing fireside friend. I mean, I could have left the bar until today...

I think the radical left is the real mental disorder. All talk, no plan of action, no accountability, and I am going to shoot you for your opinion differs from mine.

    How'd it go today?

Climbed to 120' in a 4' diameter fir at the waters edge to handle some large deadwood. I love a leather cambium saver. So easy and light. No chipping. No gas saws. 1-2 miles from my shop. Thankful.

    How'd it go today?

i don‘t know, i had the „pleasure“ to meet many crooks that dressed conservative and also people with (to me) weird tattoos that where extremely kind and warmhearted. it’s hard sometimes but i think its worth it to not focus on prejudices so much.
