    How'd it go today?

One LMFH (lawn mower from hell) has been conquered. Initially a gunked up fuel bowl and a bad o-ring. Then it was killing the battery. I found a broken wire inside a six pin connector. Then it would only start/run on ether. Tank got drained, fresh alcohol free gas was added. Carb cleaned again...

Trimming Spruce, How Far is Too Far?

I'm leaning towards #3 as the max...but I await other input with interest. At #4, there is not as much new annual growth taking place, mostly just maintaining what is established. Conifers in general adapt to shade by die back of the most shaded branches. If you trim back to that zone, the...

Trimming Spruce, How Far is Too Far?

How far is safe to trim back Spruce and similar trees if trying to even them out? The goal is to not kill any branches, and hopefully have it eventually fill in nicely. A picture for example

Distilled is condensed steam. RO is reverse osmosis. I know you’re supposed to use distilled in your cooling system to avoid getting minerals in it so the water is probably pretty similar in the end. It’s possible that drinking entirely mineral free water could strip minerals out of you.

    How'd it go today?

Yes, but has no healthy minerals I think. We mostly drink spring water at work, and of course electrolytes.

    How'd it go today?

I am again flummoxed by the fact that many people choose to live in a place like that; a place that basically has no potable water.

    How'd it go today?

Water comes from the Colorado by a large 60 mile long canal. Google up the Yuma siphon. Tap water tastes like dirt and chlorine. We RO it. Many people and places have a water truck that brings them spring or treated water once a month for drinking. We have a big SS tank upstairs at work. If...
