A couple of pictures captured by the event photographer.
Haakon got caught in a guillotine. It was pretty deep. As you can see from the picture.
It wasn’t surprising that he looked like he was gonna pass out when his head popped out and he got the guy in a footlock.
That looks great.
I have been cooking on the grill outside. Just charcoal or sometimes I use a griddle pan.
Here is a recipe I found from a mate. I marinade it for 24 hours and zip lock bag it.
Might work well with your setup.
Thanks Mick.
Yes it was good it was not damaged.
He recovered quite well after his first knee surgery and then competed in 3 or 4 tournaments. Then ruptures the meniscus again which required a second surgery. He took the rehab just as serious but did’t rush back into competition quite so...
Both Haakon and Torstein competed in the BJJ Oslo Open 2025 today.
Haakon had his first match after recovery from knee surgery. He is also an adult now and in the blue belt category. He won the first match via footlock after being in a deep guilotine.
Second match he dominated for the...
Haha. Sounds very familiar.
She kept coming over as I was splitting some Birch.
It must have been quality control. As she kept coming back and getting another one and chewing/checking for a bit then back again. Rinse and repeat.

I find on a two man crew it usually is a lot more efficient to use a speed line on a lowering job.

Kira is being Kira, don’t know if she thinks she is helping. She has debarked a few logs and dragged a bit of brash.
Not exactly where I wanted or...
Rodtang is an absolute beast.
Haggery is an absolute beast as well. Always has been. Fought well above his station as a hi moor and was knocking our grown men when still a junior.
Not so much work pictures, Went over towards the west coast of Norway to help out at the Norwegian National Tree Climbing comp.
Camped a night in Hargangervidda and then drove on down to the venue. I was a in tree tech for the ascent event. We set everything up on the Friday and the event...
Haha, I still use freedom units as that’s what we grew up with in the UK.
Now I live in Norway, I get confused when they say the bar sizes in cm’s.

My wrists and elbows remember the 200t for everything days.
I got one of the first 150t’s early on. Ported it straight off and my elbows and wrist felt so much better for it.
I am not really into battery saws. I have used a few but they just seem like a step back to me. Ie the comment...
The Spruce job today was at a property that burnt to the ground last summer.
A protected oak had been so badly burnt that it had been felled and rolled to the side so this afternoon we planked that up.
Not the widest but some half decent boards for the homeowner to make a table out of once...
