    New one

Jomo, I'm not knocking your ideas but how you orate them and put it to words is impossible to make sense of. Slow down, be descriptive, and talk in sequence. It'll help guys like me understand you and your ideas better

    New toy!

Chain is everything. Take a 660 and put a dull chain on it. It loses all usefulness. But take a 260 and spend a half hour on the tailgate dressing each tooth and taker to perfection and now the saw exceeds what Stihl engineered it to be capable of on average. Everyone thinks they sharpen well...

    New toy!

I just bought and am using a 460 built by White River Chainsaws in Washington. Cylinder is milled, woods ported, and has dual port muffler. It's plain nasty. It's just a very very aggressive saw. Performs like the next engine class up. Between the professional mods and precision chain set up...

    Official Guns Thread

Did my second restoration of this old mossberg 30-30. Interesting gun in that the trigger swings out with the lever. I had the bluing really good and pushed it by doing another layer and totally lost a lot of the evenness. Lesson learned. I'm currently working on a savage 24v 222 over 20 gauge...

    Woodworking

So I've fallen in love with woodworking. Been buying tools and scored a few for free. Got a drill press and this radial arm saw for free. It's old but it's hardly used and it's when Craftsman was pro-ish grade. Made the kids this shooting bench and have taken up making things in the evenings...

A gun? Naw. Pull out a chainsaw and the robbery will end on the spot.

    Woodworking

So pretty much I have no woodworking skills whatsoever. Never built something in my adult life that I can recall. I'm just not good at it. But Courtney has been talking about a herb box to hang on the deck rail lately. So I tried my hand. It came out ok so I tried to make a matching planter box...

    recommend equipment for each truck

Electrical tape. From ropes to repairs, you'll find a use for it. I use it a lot when I'm taking a bar and chain off a saw to put a different one on. While the bar and chain are still on, wrap it a few times like this. They'll come off and stay off together and organized. Also makes it easier to...

Found this and bought it from White River Saws. Cylinder milled and a woods port job. Checked a few references about their work and the word is that they're work saws hold up exceptionally well.

I'm shying away from out of state Craigslist buys. I feel better buying blind from a member on here. Though I know that's not 100% safe.

066/660 046/460 064 Any one of those. Gotta be in nice shape. Don't like the newer saws out. Want one of those.
