Greatest frustration with running a crew or otherwise

Let's see here... Guys that steal equipment is the worst I've seen, most common is guys that just drag their feet, or hardly move at all, I think Butch coined the term "Pile Polishers" some time ago. Also common is guys that claim to be way more experienced than they are, they talk the talk...

    The toughest trees to remove

We have both Monkey Puzzle and Cunninghamia Lanceolata here, both nasty! Monkey Puzzle is a protected species in our city, I've never done a removal on one. But Cunninghamia... man those are just mean. Very sharp needles, wood extremely brittle, especially when it gets really cold, push on a...

CV, Really nice job on the Live Oak! in the before pics you can hardly see any growth, that's a LOT of dead wood you removed! Looks great! I love prune jobs like that.

    Juniper Shrub Fungus/Disease

I did some reasearch on Gymnosporangium today, and found that Gymnosporangium Clavipes seems to fit the description quite well. The growths on the cutting I took in the first picture have grown significantly in less than 24 hours! despite being severed from the host. Thanks Underwor! I'm going...

    Juniper Shrub Fungus/Disease

The growths are not hard like wood, they are very soft and flexible to the touch. But at the same time I cannot say for sure if they are or are not fruiting bodies. I haven't seen anything like it on this species before. I'm in South Surrey B.C. about 10 minutes from the Washington State border.

    Juniper Shrub Fungus/Disease

Hey everyone! This is my first thread here! I have a nice Juniper Shrub I transplanted about two summers ago from a friends yard. A little history first, When I dug it up, I used a small gardening trowel, and a twig to clear away soil so as to be as careful to not to do any unintended damage...

    How'd it go today?

Cool! We have similar millipedes here, the ones I'm thinking of have the opposite color pattern, and are a little longer, as I recall. they like to live in moist dark places I've noticed, under rocks, logs, etc. This guys apparently in the Harpaphe genus...
