I used the 2 block/ 2 round system for chunking, or whatever someone on Arbtalk called it.
To firewood this down without hanging and lifting the saw (ms362 fwiw) , I bucked a round through, then started the next kerf until it could hold the saw, then pushed of the loose round, shimmied my choked climb line and flipline down, finished the cut and started the next, then pushed off the loose round.
I chunked the 60' trunk to 12' for a wildlife habitat trunk in about 20 minutes while monitoring auctions (picked up 15 4'x8'x0.5" off-brand mats for $100/ each, more coming at the next auction).
