Great pics.

So that lil guy Nungubon could destroy you in a fight? I presume the answer is yes but it’s still crazy bc he’s so much smaller

He may be short but go back and look at the size of his calves. They are almost the size of my thighs 😜

And yes, he would leather me 😜

The kinda guy who could break baseball bats with his shins, no doubt

Decent UFC title fight (interim) at the weekend.

Bit too much for Paddy but Justin did very well. Warriors👊🏼

Knocking the level down a bit from UfC LoL. Haakon was out again last Saturday for another Muay Thai fight. This time fighting a 24 year old Serbian guy.

Points decision but he was outclassed by Haakon, didn’t get the finish but a W is a W.

On to the next.

Haakon knocked up this highlight reel from some of the footage. Hope you enjoy.

Nice fight! Looks like his knee is causing no issues

The youth get called up but if you don’t want to do military service you don’t have to. e.g Stine’s cousin went into the coastal service to contribute to his captains ticket as he is a commercial fisherman.

Haakon wants to do it, but everyone gets a call.

I went to the Arnold classic a few weeks ago to support 3 guys in our gym that were competing in the grappling. New guys did good. A guy I started with took silver in gi and nogi. I had to step in as coach and record video. Basically I was just encouragement because I could give him no advise. He made no mistakes but was just beaten by the guy that took golds. Also I’ve been down to just drilling since then. I’ve got some issue going on with my left knee that has me worried. Got some anaconda brand braces and they are helping but I still have certain movements that I can’t do. If it doesn’t get better or go away by the end of the week I’m calling an orthopedic place to get looked at. I’m guessing I have a partial tendon tear but if they say I need surgery I guess I need to get a passport and head to Mexico. I’ll spend the money if stem cells are my only option from getting cut open

I’ve been a bit busy lately but trying to get back down the gym to the Muay Thai classes. Went to a clinch session on Sunday. Not been for 3 weeks due to a few sniffles and general work load. Felt great. Managed to chuck a few people about, was great fun.

Not bad considering I am 52 in September. I booked my flights fo Thailand for a month in January. So I’ve got that to look forward to.

Torstein has been training BJJ but Haakkn has been training hard for the Army. He already has a position for an August start in the North of Norway on the border with Russia, GSV. He is waiting a date in Selection for the Norwegian LRRP as Field Operator. Intense fitness requirement and he has been training solid for the last 10 weeks. He last fought MT in January at 69kg. He is now 74kg, eating like a horse. Due to the fitness requirements he has not been training BJJ or MT in case he gets a knock and can’t do the selection.

Fingers crossed for him, he definitely likes to do things the hard way.

Haakon has been doing his Muay Thai Judging and refereeing course.

There is a 100 fight gala this Saturday in Oslo. Probably one of the biggest fight events in Scandwegia.

We will be going to watch and Haakon will be a ring judge on a lot of them and probably shadow reffing some of the bouts.
