Yeah, maybe.... I was thinking Carolinas. There's no identifying tag anywhere and I bought them without the box. I don't climb anymore, so these are just collecting dust..
 
Factory seconds from some boot makers have the name or tag removed so if the defect is found the company won’t have their name dragged through the mud.

Factory 2nd boots should just be superficial or cosmetic defects, wrong number of stitches or a little something visible in the leather, like uneven pigmentation or a coarse spot, that makes them less than A grade. Shouldn’t be any difference in fit or functionality.
