Good! It's a trash tree that shouldn't exist over here. That would be a good promotion for you all. Free removal of Bradford pear with any treework.

For years I recommended Norway Maples here for replanting with very good reasons ... now deemed an Evasive by the State
Here too. Pretty trees, don’t seem overly fast growing to me. I’ll still plant a couple in my yard lol.
 
I read that or similar before, but when municipalities are planting them around town and homeowners are planting them around the yard for shade, it’s hard to accuse them of displacing the local native growth.

We could maybe use something to displace all the dead ash in the forests here anyways. They’re miserable looking. Just tons and tons of dead ash and scrub brush unless there’s pines or spruce. So it goes.
 
I believe I have one of the "Cleveland Selects" on my property. Thing is a freak almost 60ft. tall. I'll snap a pic tomorrow and post on my way out.
