The RIP Thread...

My van has a tape player which I've started using since the CD player is reluctant to eject discs. I had an adapter for the cassette deck to run my walkman (mp3) but it calved so now I'm going thru a suitcase of old tapes. Not so easy to skip songs which is a nice change.

What? Obviously you don't have the auto music sensor feature then. lol. I laugh because it consistently works inconsistently in my truck. As in I'll be like that song f-cking rocked I'm gonna listen to it again so I hit the rewind and it goes back two songs. :whine:

Tim Conway & Doris Day both gone this week, 85 and 97.

He was a really funny guy.

I remember seeing Doris Day in Calamity Jane when I was a kid and always liked this song.

You lost me there too, Jim. I think, but could be mistaken, that you are being sarcastic. If so, take a few minutes and inform yourself of Lauda's history.

If not, my apologies.

I watched a documentary about him.......

I was under the impression that after his near fatal wreck in crappy conditions...under extreme pressure to race....he was a drivers safety advocate.

Not to the extent that Stewart was....but still an advocate.

My apologies if incorrect!
