How'd it go today?

Looks good!

I wish a market around here sold crappie. Most delicious fish I've ever tasted. Silly name, yeah, but amazing flavor.

Today I slept in til 11am, cut the grass, visited my dad and helped him return some leftover building materials, showered, went out for burgers with my girl, and read some.

Sleeping Beauties co-authored by Stephen King and his son, Owen King is a great read. Hard to put down. I'd rate 5 stars if the ending doesn't totally suck somehow.

3 stumps today. Good pay. I'm stressed out. Work in the shop and trees are crazy busy. Bad weather has pushed my schedule back. I'm set to have a stellar season. I even have a line on an 088 for a spare. Problem is my once reliable ground help has forgotten everything. Broke a few things on me. Par for the course. 2 hours late the one day.
GF has a bunch of house projects that will turn into disasters for me.

We got the haying done today.
The weather has been absolutely perfect for growing grass.
We got 260 bales out of our 2 acre field.
Last year, with the drought we had, we got 39.
Quite the difference.
We only use about 200, so we sold the rest.
