How'd it go today?

Livet er som en barneskjorte; kort og beskidt.

Life is like a childs shirt; short and dirty.

Sounds better in Danish.

Yeah, rough run of events, sorry to hear it Stig.

I fell off a hedge yesterday, bashed myself up a bit, knocked the stuffing out of me, gashed my arm and a bad back.
Silly old fool.
Plus I went to see a specialist about the bee sting thing, more tests needed but it doesn’t look too promising.
Could really be an issue going forward work wise, might even be the end if its the worst case scenario.

Silly old fool it is.
Just wait till you get to my age.

Sorry to hear that, Mick.

Yes I do now, but that’s just a delaying tactic to get you time to get the docs, in rural France that may not be a risk worth taking.

We’ll see, I’ve got to go to the hospital for tests on my susceptibility, it has to be at the hospital in case I go into full anaphylactic shock even after a small test amount.

I don’t want to go like Joffrey Baratheon.

Mick, I don't want this to come over as an asshole ( Sorry , arsehole) question, but how good is your french.

Feel free to tell me to mind my own arsing business, but I have a good reason to ask, as you can probably guess.

It’s ok, pretty good.

If you want a certified translation, probably not good enough.

If you want something translated, sure.

Marc Antoine is the real deal of course!

Thanks, Mick.

Having worked and lived in a lot of different countries, I was just wondering.

I hated it, when I couldn't speak the local lingo.

Want to go to bed but left the back gate open, Igor has pissed off, now I have to wait till he (hopefully) decides to come back from his nocturnal marauding.

The bastard is back, filthy and not a hint of remorse.

Night all.

I'm allergic, but not to the point of anaphylactic shock (like my grandfather was) -- more just swelling, hives, discomfort, possible shortness of breath.

Easy 1/2 day today -- I dismantled a red bud out front (leaving all wood) while we set up out back in the alley with the grapple truck. Took down a walnut, piece by piece -- grappled or craned out with slings. Very light chipping duty, Got a few keeper logs out of the deal for milling. Neighbors were highly impressed, want us back for an ash and a Siberian elm removal. Then off to greet a friend moving back into the area, nice social time this evening, his family & mine.
