I’ve looked into that ... it may be more advantageous to find another that has and pay him $50 for a “run” and then get the computer printout

If the top cover looks like a rat chewed through it just to make a hole for a filter out the back. Imagine what the port work might look like. :O:|:

I'm not one to worry about port work looks long as they run good. But holy crap that is horrible work on that top cover.
Here I thought I was a hack.

Yah , went a bit too far on the clearance ... R/D man ... got a new cover on order ... here’s a video before any port work was done ... tuned intake with K/N filter and tuned exhaust ... Saw has about 20 tanks of fuel thru at this stage ... approx 15-18% gains over brand new / stock WITH stock jug/slug NO Porting on this video , original jug/slug !https://youtu.be/tiysFN3-nL8

Little compare-0 video between a 462c (72.2cc) with tuned exhaust/intake stock jug/slug vs a Hotsaws101 461R (76.5cc) Extreme ported worksaw ... The 462c is bone stock except for the intake / exhaust mods , the 461R is ported and features a max-flo air system and a 460 unlimited coil ..... https://youtu.be/AjbZ2S95iBQ .......https://youtu.be/E0x4H66GZSE

That's a mean 461, sounds angry, the clear winner regardless of technique. The 462 almost caught it with the last cut, but still a ways off.

Yah , 3 cuts with the 462c 32sec ; 3 with 461 28sec ... best cut with 462c a fuzz over 8 sec ; 461R fuzz under 8 sec ... same bar/chain fuel, wood and atmospheric conditions and operator (me) ... consider the 462c has a stock jug/slug and the 461 is Hotsaws101 ported ... with a hot-woods port the 462c should beat it with 20” bar/chain ... also it’s giving up some displacement at 72.2 cc vs 76.5 cc ..... I have a 441cm that’s hot-woods ported and I’ll try and run the 461R and see the results ... the 441cm is 70.7 cc so it’s down almost 6cc from the 461 at 76.5

https://youtu.be/mFwKP1hU0DE ... 462c hot woods port ... approx 30% quicker than stock ... using stock off the roll STIHL RS chain 3/8 .050 ... with a square ground chain and rakers set accordingly a 20% quicker cut time can be obtained (for a gain of approx 50% over stock !!!).. More in this Saw but I’m satisfied with this version ... great combo of power and fuel economy !!!
