Very simple. It just pulls out and pushes back in. Spent many hours behind that thing! I still use it to this day when I need a vise.
 
Hell no, it's just a partial sheet of plywood :). Butch showed it to me when I visited him a few eons ago. It was slicker than snot.
 
I thought it would need some type of small balls placed under (in the tracks of the bed liner) it to help it slide, but when I first tested it it worked just fine.

No balls needed!

But, if I ever carried any real weight on the plywood, then I 'spect I'd need to add them.
 
Did u make your own bed slide? How did you do that?

I built this with under-slide storage for saws. Boosted up the tray about a 1'off the bed.
