Who all is gonna tune in? This seems kinda odd Travis has been quiet and off the radar for a while. I guess preparing for this?

I hope he pulls them off for his sake. I?m curious to see what contraption of a motorcycle they?ve built to pull this off on. Some custom/modern V-Twin.

52 cars, then 16 full size buses, and last the fountain at Caesar?s Palace. All in a 3 hour time period.

didn't know about that, I'll watch. :drink:

Not really a fan, but good luck!!!

I?ve kept up with his craziness as long as i can remember. Not so much in the past 4-5 years.

I really thought he and many of his buddies would be tired of the pain and suffering they go through by now..... guess not. I feel for him If he lives another 30 years .

The ?Nitro Circus? tv show that used to come on was great. They did some ignorant stuff but most of it was pretty amazing when they pulled it off and all went as planned.

They're all crazy in my opinion.

I remember waiting for Evel's canyon jump, big news back then. Only thing bigger that year was Ali's Rumble in the Jungle. (Not counting Nixon, Hearst and a few other things.)

Bit of a letdown he didn't make it, but he put some effort into it.

Better look at the jump site here, bit bigger than our old creek.

Well I watched it last night. Went as I expected. Almost to the point of being boring/ not very exciting. It was a good show but Pastrana could have done those in his sleep.... backwards, or on a gold wing. (Sorry Evel). I was kinda surprised he didn?t try to backflip that Indian.

I rekin the nostalgia of the event is what made the show.

That Indian tho. Man that was sharp!!!
Can?t find any pics on the net of the one he used in the jumps. Possibly a huge seller if its recreated to go on sale as a limited edition bike.

He did it easily. No comparison on the bikes though. A brand new, customized and tweaked Indian verses a 1970 HD. Watched it last night as well just because everyone else went to bed and I was awake

Can?t disagree with you there. That Indian was no comparison. You know it?s a hot bike when it can yank the front end up just by a blip of the throttle. I?m pretty sure I saw them cranking it with an external starter too ..that was a big giveaway.

Was a sharp bike tho I?ll give them that

It is definatley a sweet ride. Don’t get me wrong either. Travis is one of the best. But the bikes are apples to oranges. He was doing it as a tribute and not to prove he is better.

Looked as if he could have easily extended each jump by almost 20% -- set some records that are going to last a good while, instead of just surpassing Evel's.

But to be frankly honest, I find these far more impressive (something I could never do):

Pastrana's other trick flips are far more impressive than those simple straight jumps, in my opinion:
