Bandaloop - vertical dance

That's pretty cool.

I don't think I have mentioned it but my missus was a professional dancer for about 9 years and for the last 7 years was the artistic director of a dance company in London before we moved over to Norway.

In 1999 we had only been together about a year and she auditioned for a company called De la Guarda. She made it through about 3 auditions and was offered a job with them. They did all that aerial stuff. She was buzzing but it was an 18 month contract touring all over the world. I was pretty adamant at the time I didn't want a long distance relationship.

She ended up not accepting the offer. If she had I dare say I wouldn't be with her or where we are in life right now.

It was a pretty cool show though.

On some rappels out of the big trees the scope in my line was near 200 feet and I could kick off the tree and float out into space for near 30 feet and grab another tree and kick off of it in another direction, all in slow motion. It's cool.

I got to play on a high pitched roof once. I was trimming the giant water oak that was looming all over it.

I'd stand on the peak and jump/swing into space...

It was FUN!

This is nothing compared to what bandaloop showed but I got some video of me playing a few years ago...fun floating and twirling around....my TIP was about 40 feet up...can't imagine a 200 foot rope to play on.

It's beautiful! I want to dance with a woman on a wall like this...I may just have one in mind as well
