Is there such a thing as a Mulberry bush, like in the nursery rhyme?

    After a coppice? Probably
Interesting how a limited gene pool and a limited labor force seem to be so closely related.

What is this tree? A type of wild cherry, pollarded? or just hacked?

A customer has asked me to remove it...looks kinda cool to me. Suggestions?

Def a weeping Japanese cherry, they can get weird on you after harsh weather related events as Levi mentioned. Cankers can set in after stress

It's still weeping as far as I know. The owner has not asked us to come back yet. We did the big pine for him before Irma showed up and now that the dangerous stuff is done I guess he is ignoring that one.

    Default The Tree ID Thread

Went to look at this guy today.

Owner was thinking some type of cottonwood. I some what agreed By looking at the bark. Leaves don?t quite resemble what I?m used to seeing tho. Kinda lost on it.
Only cottonwoods I?ve ever seen were huge and 150 ft tall
