I bodyboard, the beach is an hours drive from where I live, not interested in driving an hour each way to be a noob surfer for as long as it takes...

I love this video, some stunning scenery and cool surfing

That was awesome.

More than happy to share it fellas, the sheer ocean cliffs/rock formations are in Tasmania which is a separate island to mainland OZ, its a large island with a lot of untouched wilderness areas that are somewhat comparable to New Zealand.

Chris have you seen them in the wild?

Chris have you seen them in the wild?

No Cory, Orcas don't frequent my local waters - I've seen other whales once or twice and dolphins, mainly whilst out fishing. There's a an old (early eighties from memory) movie called "Orca" about a murderous killer whale that stalks a fisherman. I wouldn't watch it again but at the time I was a bit rattled, that damn whale don't quit

Orcas aren't all the same.
There are many different populations and subspecies, and they have different diets.
Those living around the PNW coast are fish eaters, and have not been known to attack humans.
That is why divers can swim with them in complete safety.
