Finished with the band thing (unless we record this fall) until Feb so I'm back to dinking around doing this for a bit...

Don't know who wrote it...I got it from an old Don Reno & Red Smiley recording...I was after learning Mac McGaha's fiddle break...a way to go yet, but zeroing in on it.

Hey what the hell, I've been playing all my life. Started on piano, learned drums, bass, and trumpet.

Currently play for church and in a country/rock cover band called Maiden Dixie.

Super cool, Brandon!!! Stay caught up on this thread!

It looks like he's facing into the wind, beating on a bass drum - greeting the incoming weather!

that's how I see it.

I would love to have this, but I think it's a one-off.

To be honest I haven't touched my acoustics in months. I'd consider the rtoms if they had two 14's. I'm still hammering my e drums which keeps me going. Make sure you give us a review when they come.

I love your space too! I need to do some sound dampening...

I got my RTOMs in yesterday - they are worth every penny of the $250!!!

Hell yea...dampening and soundproofing are two completely critters. SP is WAY more difficult to accomplish!!!

What you did (and what I need to do) was reduce the harshness of the sounds. No superfluous soundwaves bouncing around!

Do you have more than a kick and a snare?
