The Official Work Pictures Thread

If you do use them, you better be accurate;)
Removed a hazard tree for the city today. It was about a 90’ tulip poplar. Easy climb. Only had to rig one top, the rest could fly.

Sorry there’s no before or during pics. I was in a mood to match our foul weather. That was mama coon. Three babies vacated shortly after I bucked the log

At least the coon didn't jump on your face during the climb.

We get lots of huge silver maples here too, and cottonwoods. They're just fast growers, plus cotton woods have thick bark.

Thanks Rajan, i felt it was one of my better ones  That's a gigantic willow there! Fortunately i didn't climb it, had planned to in order to saw some lean into it, but once i started figuring on the weights of everything i determined it was pretty balanced and pulling it would be enough. Biggest tree I've taken whole by property, not gonna lie when it started to go once i got it cut up (i had tensioned up but figured i would have to pull it over) i felt pretty good. Had a big hollow right above the hinge, so i was also pretty happy when i got nothing but clean chips cutting the face. Not too bad for a fitter:lol:

Weather has dried up a bit so the timber lorry was able to come and take the cedar.

Thing is with the 088, you don’t need it often, but when you do..

Jeezum crow, that is one big cedar.
we don't see those around here.

I agree on the 088. I only run a few tanks a year in mine but it’s here when I need it. The older I get the more I hate having to use it. I’d be perfectly happy if it was a garage queen.
