The Official Work Pictures Thread

Stig: Thanks very much. So, when you bomb the line up with the big-shot... What do you prefer to pull it with?

Looking good Sean and Stig!

Removed a walnut today no less than 8 billion nuts to clean up. Filled a bagster, almost, of nuts.

Ha Stig! The way your pictures are ordered it looks like you were cutting down the tree the climber is in!! First pic, someone busy at the base...next pic, a leaning tree with a climber in it :O:lol:

Another day loving what I do

Just me and Jason today. Could’ve (and probably should’ve) used another guy but it all turned out fine. Just took longer with down time for both of us. Cash money though so all is well

Straightforward stuff, client took the pics, so why not?

Black locusts on a slope above a house, power lines as well for giggles.

Fairly easy if I’m honest, got to leave high stumps to catch the trunks and stop them rolling down the hill.

Finish tomorrow hopefully.

The drought last summer means a lot of trees set an uncommon amount of seeds this year.
The guy who owns the forest next to my house is a forest seed merchant.
He asked if we could help harvest Beech seeds.

Basically you clear the undergrowth away, then cover the forest bottom in nettting.
Then when the seeds have fallen, but before the leaves fall, you collect the seeds.
We'll get to that in October.

We spent two days playing Christo.
Always fun to try something new.

Thais dog was a geat help.
When you start unrolling the net, it'll just follow you unless it is staked down.
We found out that asking Thais to lay down on it, and giving him the " Stay" command, worked fine.

I'll tell you when we get to it in October.
This is all new to me.

Thais dog had a great day.
He'd get under the net and run around under it, trying to find a way out.
As soon as he got out, he'd go back under again.

He really cracked us all up.
