My dad(s) were cool enough but man I lusted for a dirtbike my whole childhood. I was sixteen and a half before I bought myself my first one.

I'm telling yah life is better with motorcycles.

We are gonna need some more pics of that machine big Jim. Time for some father son bonding time!

That's what I'm talking about! Shit you make that bike look tiny. Lol.

That's what I thought... like Damn... Jim is big. XR is big for me but I just stomp on it..

Congrats Jim.

Your size will dumb down that 650 quite a bit... it's not a Richter rocket ship... just no whiskey throttle.

I was very lucky growing up.

Grandpa bought a ATC 110 three wheeler for his older grand kids to ride.

I got on to it when I was about 5.

Then he dug out a Trail 90 for me when I was about Richards age 6 or 7.

After that it was a two stroke Kawasaki 100 that was Dad's. It was a big step up in performance!

First bike I bought was a 72 CB 750.

Then a 1600 Road Star Yamaha.

Now a 650L Honda.

Been lots of quads over the years....but they are kind of like farm machinery. Bikes are for living.

I would love to find a V65 Magna......love those bikes.

An early EVO Harley would be good too.

Dirtbike madness has crept in around here. Lots of gear as Christmas presents. My wife surprised me tonight with some new motocross boots to replace my ancient ones.

That's a great looking bike Jim. Will be curious to hear your thoughts on it as you get some seat time in.

Gotta gear up Jim. Set a good example for your son. Gear protects you and in doing so breeds confidence which aids in tearing shit up!
