    Jerry Beranek's Fundamentals

Mine was loaned out to the teacher of a chainsaw certification course. I told him to take his time with it. About four months later just when I was getting a bit antsy about it he dropped it off.

    Jerry Beranek's Fundamentals

Well, if I was Charlie and sold those books at those prices, I'd at least send J and T a case of wine. The good stuff...

    Jerry Beranek's Fundamentals

Yes, and one thing that I learned from that whole experience, is that although you may not like a man, a teacher or whoever, he still can be very deserving of your utmost respect.

    Jerry Beranek's Fundamentals

Yeah, me and the other apprentices were watching a grainy film once of a woodworking treasure, a man as highly revered in the trade as it can get, by then deceased. It was after a long day at the shop and most of us were stretched out wasted on the floor. Our master walked in and upon seeing...

    Jerry Beranek's Fundamentals

Jerry's book is my most studied text that I've ever applied myself to in my life. Never took it to bed though. When you read a book whose author it is that you so highly respect, it calls for sitting up straight!

    Jerry Beranek's Fundamentals

I never liked school very much after the sixth grade, no longer kickball at recess or something... My mind drifted away from the desire to study. "The Fundamentals" was a great source of inspiration and study for me, paragraphs that I thought that were important I ran a felt pen over, and...

    Jerry Beranek's Fundamentals

I wonder what sort of numbers from predicted sales, be it volume or revenue, would have a publisher consider it? I showed my copy to the guy that taught the saw certification I was recently required to take for prefectural contracts. He was all over it, still hasn't given it back. I thought...

Interesting to see the prices of things in the ads, if you haven't lived in the states for quite awhile.

    Jerry Beranek's Fundamentals

Ha, first thing I like to do when i get packages from the states, like an ebay purchase, is read the newspaper if it has been used for packing material. It can be a nice mix of different parts of the issue, maybe find out who got married in some hick town in Colorado. Less interested in the obits.

    Jerry Beranek's Fundamentals

What I like about the Fundamentals is that it isn't just a study about something, it is also entertaining reading. I guess it's the way the words are put together. In the vein of a Hardy Boy's novel, what is he going to do next? :/:

Can you underline or highlight passages with E books? My Fundamentals has a lot of pink color in it.

    Jerry Beranek's Fundamentals

I give myself credit, I thought it was a thimble, but upon searching the web, nothing showed. Phased out explains that. Jerry reminds me of Felix the Cat.

    Jerry Beranek's Fundamentals

If I had studied my textbooks in school like I did Jerry's book, I'd probably be a doctor or a professor.... Heaven forbid a lawyer.
