    Oh I see what you are saying, the 15 min waits. If the wind had started to worsen, they'd have just had to wait longer. Even though, for waits longer than 15mins you need a different permit which we didn't have.

    Yes Mick. Lot of flare on the back side of that tree, so you have to roll the line around to with one hand, or you're not going anywhere fast. Trying to get your weight forward for each roll so dragging a saw up wouldn't help. Used a back handle saw too, so a little extra weight amd and bulk...

    Its just a big tree.Gary, thats had a fire burn the middle out.at some point too. The wide angle lens on the camera also makes it appear like it tapers off much faster than what it does in real life. Also looks a bit weird because the ground is so steep and the camera is several feet below
