    Jerry Beranek's Fundamentals

Seems even more worthwhile to get another print run together, Jerry. If you could use some financial backing, I'm willing to visit about that. A revision is WAY more work, for sure...but might be even more of a good seller. Either way, if I can help at all, holler.

    Jerry Beranek's Fundamentals

Some of us have been trying to talk Jerry into doing a revision for more than a few years now. I still think he'd produce a book that would in the very least match the sales of the first. I wish he'd reconsider.

Yeah, well...Carl is a rather unusually responsible fellow.

Look at this, friends. A thread I started a bit over 9 years ago about how fine a resource Jerry Beranek's iconic book on the work we all respect, and even love (on the good days :)) is still getting posted to. Awesome book Jerry, the best on the subject still, and awesome forum site, Butch.

Reprints are not a viable option, Jer? If you need an investor class to make that a go, I'd bet cloud funding like Jaime has done with his SRT tool could be successful.

Agreed, the best there is...and likely ever to be. Until Jer gets a revision out, that is :).

    Jerry Beranek's Fundamentals

I can't argue, Brian. For sheer impressiveness, including great pictures, not much can compete. It's a fine book that also needs to be in the hands of anyone who appreciates the challenges of working in big timber.

    Jerry Beranek's Fundamentals

I have just enjoyed reading and studying Jerry's fine book, which I received just before the holidays. Nothing finer than a good book, a warm woodstove, a glass of smooth scotch, and some time off to enjoy them all. One thing that struck me repeatedly as I worked my way page by page is that...
