Next time you want to re-heat cold leftover pizza, try a covered skillet on medium heat. Comes out almost like its fresh again. If you wanna get crazy, drop a little butter and minced garlic in the pan first and let it heat up. I'll never re-bake or *shudder* microwave it again.

Burgers at Grover's :) At one time the place was President Grover Cleveland's hunting cabin. Small place, legendary burgers. Was on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives or whatever the food show is with Guy Fieri (sp?). I had a mozzarella and bacon burger, side of onion rings. Washed down with EBC Blueberry Wheat ale.

Looks good! I wish a market around here sold crappie. Most delicious fish I've ever tasted. Silly name, yeah, but amazing flavor. Today I slept in til 11am, cut the grass, visited my dad and helped him return some leftover building materials, showered, went out for burgers with my girl, and read some. Sleeping Beauties co-authored by Stephen King and his son, Owen King is a great read. Hard to put down. I'd rate 5 stars if the ending doesn't totally suck somehow.

That's your decision to make man, and neither choice is ridiculous or unreasonable. Many decline to take it even as far as you have already. Your doctor will accept that and he should still have your back or refer you to another doc that will have your back if you need other treatment for pain or respiratory therapy or anything.

You're a good man, Stephen. So many folks around here on a pretty fixed income own properties and didn't expect all the Ash to drop dead so quickly. Probably 2nd or 3rd most common hardwood in the area. The good news is they can often pay for drop and leave and get someone else to come collect the wood for heating. Some guys will cut the firewood out of 3" branches, I just lack the patience. Bad news is folks are letting them go too long to the point that they're too risky to climb. I'll help my friends and family all day long if it can be done safely. I guess if there's a bright side it's that it's not called the Emerald Willow Borer... that would suck trying to get rid of that crap. At least Ash wood is desirable.

Some friends are free, some are at a very reduced cost. Family is free, but I got a couple uncles that insist on payment and don't take no for an answer. If I gotta bring a good rope man with me they'll pay his wage 25 or 30$ an hour cash. If that's all they pay for rigging over structures and wires, it's almost nothing. I like helping and doing favors, but I'm not gonna lose money. I've bartered work with friends too. Traded tree work for HVAC work, auto mechanic work, painting. Got a buddy that's a plumber who owes me one lol hopefully never gotta cash that favor in, it might not be a fair trade if he has to visit for more than 2 hours or so. I just flopped some dead ash for him to clean up. Drinks and chow are always appreciated, but unless it's scary hazardous trees, I'm probably having a good time anyways! After a 48+ hour week in the plant, trees are usually very enjoyable for me. It's fun, and therapeutic. My son is really taking a liking to it now too, I bought him a saw and some good quality PPE, nice saw pants and a Petzl helmet. He wants to climb now. Maybe next year if he keeps paying attention and learning. Didn't know you had a twin, Tommy, cool! Identical?

I need to upgrade I think. I hit the mute button way to much now. Mine has great range I think, Cobra I think. It'll start beeping long before I can see the cop. How do you keep it dry on the bike?

I've always owned a radar detector since I was 16. It's not a guarantee, but it's worked for me so far! Alot of things on the road set it off now. I think newer cars with the sensors that tell a driver that they're very close to an object is almost constant now. Cops checking speed makes a different noise, KA band I think for cops mostly.

I was here 13-14 years ago, place was jumping pretty good then. I miss alot of the folks, I could probably name 20 guys or so that I was really hoping to reconnect with. Still alot of greats around. During my absence, I'd still think about the folks here alot. Found myself in a jam trying to fix the truck or something and always thought " I wonder what Al would do? "
