Good to hear mistahbenn, I know firsthand that's a hard road sometimes. So bizarre watching the public stigma associated with weed just melting away once science is given some freedom to research it.

Thanks GiGi! Butch, go as simple or extravagant as you want. There's so much info and recipes out there but the base is usually similar. A cup of oil should absorb a cup of ground bud, but if in doubt, more oil is less wasteful than more bud. Measure volume not weight right now. I don't have the brains to accurately describe decarboxylation, but low heat with a sufficient amount of fat/ oil should do it.

For a year now. I might smoke it once or twice a week if the situation presents itself with friends or family or girlfriend but don't prefer it. I eat a half serving or a full of a cannabis gummy candy daily though. To clear confusion, I don't mean CBD stuff you get at the rez or headshop; I mean THC laden weed. It's not as simple (or as gross) as just eating raw bud. It needs to be let down with heat and fats to make it GI soluble. It can be as simple as " budder". Idk where to start or how to describe the closest I was to " rock bottom ", but having gone through 10+ years of VA prescribed antidepressants and sleeping drugs and guilt, and suicide attempts; I've never been better than now. Work ethic, planning, happiness, goals, sex drive, priorities. Haven't felt all that in a while.

Makes sense if you wanna land a helicopter up there. Otherwise, enjoy your leaks and pooling stagnant water.

Boggles my mind. How is it possible to convince hundreds of people to murder kids and commit suicide? Madness.

That's really good to hear, Brian. Is he flying a bucket and climbing yet? Sounds like you could have the potential for 2 crews in the future if you wanted.

At my plant seniority dictates who gets laid off and who doesn't. Doesn't matter how good of a worker one is; a good worker will be laid off, and the guy who's out on disability every summer and does the bare minimum will keep his job if he's got a day of seniority over the other guy. Sure ain't ideal for the company, but I have a hard time sympathizing with them. ;)

This was a fun thread to read. Give us an update next time you check in, Boots. Sounds like you found a good guy to work for. Feel bad bitching about the heat yet?

I got a pair of survus rubber overshoes I'm gonna try with my climbing boots this winter. Also made for linemen, so hopefully they're durable.

Hoffman makes a pac lineman boot. No chainsaw protection, but looks like they'll keep your feet warm and dry and probably comfy for spur climbing.

They made the right call. Kill it now rather than a few years from now when it'd be a mass of sucker growth and decay. Plus this way they only gotta pay you once ;)

Ditto that. A lot of wood can get split in a short amount of time with a maul. Once I figured it out a little, I've won the kewpie doll every time on this carny game.

Hey Dave, how did this ever work out for you as a tethering option? I'd very much like to get my hands on one. What's it made from?
