I've also heard certain legit dealers buy the saws themselves, and so are allowed to price how they want. Maybe not for Stihl? I can't remember where I read that. Do they usually drop the price a bit on new releases after a few years or less?

I usually leave it in the truck to avoid breaking it, getting it wet with sweat and covered in sawdust, and the camera features aren't that great. Plus the lens is usually smeared with nothing clean around to wipe it off.

I've always thought someone could use a huge military helicopter to just haul off whole trees after 1 stump cut to a place where they can be processed (a field to burn them, or mulch making plant). Such a helicopter could stay busy in Nashville, but it would sure cost a lot. Makes me wonder if the money saved from time and wear on the usual equipment would be able to pay for such a service if every tree company got together to use a helicopter. $20-50M for the helicopter, 10 ton capacity, unknown fuel cost...

I always think why would I want to waste time taking pics at work, and potentially look stupid doing it too, but then I wish I had later on. I'm often too busy working to take pics. It would be cool to be hired as the crew's photographer.

Oregon's chain. I was going to get Stihl, but couldn't find 66dl or whatever size I needed. I was going to go with .043 too, but didn't want to spend $100 on a Sugi bar from a limited selection.

I'm converting my ported 2511t to 1/4 .050, and I'll test cut times vs 3/8. The 1/4 sprocket is slightly smaller than the 3/8, so it will have more torque to pull the extra cutters on the same length bar.

The home page is blank, but this is what the forum looks like. During this post I saw and tried the full site link and it has fixed the problem.

I didn't know Stihl made .043 from when I checked around, but I always thought the ms150 had .043, so I thought it weird when I found only .050 for Stihl back when I searched.

I run .043 3/8 on mine. I haven't found or looked too hard for 1/4 pitch, but I want to. 1/4 .050 is easy to find, but 1/4 .043 is harder and what I want.

I didn't realize, but I did get a picture when I took a random shot to know where to aim the camera since I couldn't see the moon on the screen.

I used to take home a load of firewood chunks from a job in a Volvo XC90. Stuffed to the ceiling I figure I'd get about 1800lbs of hickory, about the max rating for the suspension of that model year. I wouldn't call my family rich by a long shot, but growing up in Volvos I never knew they were luxury cars, and I still don't think they are compared to what's out there.

As usual, the picture you see is not in the video, but the content of the video is on par with the picture <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/MERj5mwHmeU" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I was chasing the source of light in the clouds to street lights for a while til I just happened upon the extremely dim moon as I was giving up and coming back inside. It was white on one end fading to a red clay color

Think it would be a good quick money maker for hurricane damage where every tree may be subject to removal?

The challenge would be lining up a lot of jobs in the city where it can get to. Then you could do 3-5 big high dollar jobs per day instead of .5-2 per day. Need a 21" chipper for it to feed stuff into. Then you just need rakers and chainsaw operators I guess.

You could make quick money with that, but will it pay for itself before it's all broken down and asking for more $?
